La Casona really started with my love for old things and the stories behind them.

I grew up around my grandmother’s things—china, decorative pieces, and objects that had been in our family for years. They weren’t necessarily put away or treated as too precious to touch. They were part of the house, part of everyday life, and I think that is where my love for antiques began.

Over the years, I started collecting pieces of my own, always drawn to things that felt a little different or had a story to tell. Eventually, that turned into La Casona.

I love antiques, but I also love design, color, and finding ways to mix old things into the way we live today. I don’t think a home needs to feel like a museum to be filled with history. Some of my favorite spaces mix something that is 100 years old with something made today.

That is really what I want La Casona to be—a mix of old and new. Antiques and vintage pieces I find along the way, mixed with new pieces inspired by the patterns, places, and objects I love.

Things that feel collected rather than perfect. Things you actually use. Things you keep. And hopefully, things that one day someone else in your family will want too.

Because to me, the best things in a home are usually the ones with a story.
